Our History

One Loaf started operations in Singapore in 2012, previously called JS Learning. In 2018, JS Learning became One Loaf Learning as more directors joined the team and operations expanded. One Loaf Learning was born out of a desire to improve the lives of students through the provision of quality and accessible education to all, regardless of background. In line with our vision, we have a subsidized tuition program where we have partnered with multiple Family Service Centres and we have subsidized over 114 students between Secondary 1 to JC2, with over SGD 313,100 over the years.

As we begin to see the needs of assisting youths at risk, who had dropped out of school due to family and social issues, One Loaf Coffee started in 2018. As a training cafe where at-risk youths find their way through barista and cafe operations training, One Loaf Coffee trained over 40 youths over a period of 3 years. One Loaf Coffee also successfully hosted numeraous Youth Alpha courses in partnership with Shekinah AOG Church.

In 2025, One Loaf found its way to Bangkok, Thailand, continuing its legacy of reaching out and helping those who are in need through the love of Jesus Christ.

What we do

Our Centre

We hold bible study, Alpha courses, prayer meetings, etc. Weekly, we work with First Love Church (FLC) and International Christian Assembly (ICA) to distribute food to the homeless and the poor. We also have a weekly Saturday service and worship for the community around us! Those whom we help include the homeless, the refugees, and the ex-inmates.

One Loaf Bangkok YouTube Channel @oneloafbkk is a compilation of Worship Songs in Thai, and also daily devotions and bible verses in both Thai and English. Background video set with nature views and Thai Worship songs, we hope that these will help you in your daily work with Jesus Christ. The YouTube channel also consist of playlists of sermons, worship concerts, worship songs, and other daily devotions from different churches.

Partnerships

Together with First Love Church in Bangkok, we reach out to the homeless, the refugees as well as the ex-inmates so that they can find hope and meaning in life through the love of God.

One Loaf works with Send And Serve to provide training for missionaries and church workers so that we can effectively and accurately touch the lives of people through Jesus Christ.

One Loaf was a social enterprise member of raiSE Singapore and was a recipient of the Venture For Good grant that enabled us to provide quality educational resources to social beneficiaries.

One Loaf Learning had partnered with YMCA Singapore Project Bridge to provide Website and Mobile App Creation Courses for students in its Vocational and Soft Skills Training Program.

One Loaf Learning had also partnered with ITE College West Singapore on its Elevate programme, a service learning project for ITE students to give back to the community.

We had worked with various Family Service Centres in Singapore, providing subsidised tuition under our subsidised tuition programme as a way to make quality education accessible to all.
